Homemade Pasta
1 cup flour, 2 large eggs, 1 tbsp salt, & 1 tbsp oil.
Beat the eggs & put the flour (mixed with salt on a flat surface making a little nest for the beaten eggs. Add the oil & need together until a dough forms. If the dough is sticky, add flour, if it’s dry, add about 1 tbsp of water at a time. Form into a ball & wrap with parchment or wax paper, or Saran Wrap if you have it. Let sit for 15 minutes.
Add flour to flat surface & roll out your dough to be about 1/4 of an inch. Cut into thin strips & drop into boiling water! Let cook for about 8-10 minutes!
I added the pasta to an Aglio e Olio with extra red pepper flakes & the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Add some parmesan or gruyere to this & you’ve got yourself some restaurant grade pasta!
