Teriyaki Chicken Bowls

I tried a new spin on the sauce because I was low on ingredients & holy wow

  • dice your onions & sauté with some butter.

  • Add garlic.

  • Add ~1 cup of soy sauce all at once

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar slowly as you stir on medium-high heat for about 5-10 minutes.

‼️tip: cook your glaze to a thick, but runny consistency, turn off the heat & let it sit for about 5 minutes. The cooling will help it get thiccc‼️
